INFORMATION ITEMS 99 LONDON LUTON AIRPORT DRAFT MASTER PLAN Cllr Adams commented that he has read this document and there appears to be several options from just extending the existing runway to building two new runways and a new terminal. The latter project would require a large area of Green Belt Land to be used. Cllr Adams believes the extension of the existing runway would be the best option as no loss of Green Belt Land. Cllr Mrs Smith pointed out that it has already been agreed to discuss this matter at the Amenities and Planning meeting on 23rd January, 2006. 100 SPA Cllr Mrs Bacon pointed out that cars still parked across the ramps by the Poachers and HSBC Bank, causing obstruction particularly for the disabled pedestrians. Cllr Warder responded that checks by Parking Attendants are carried out randomly and unable to allocate exact times for specific areas. No other business being raised the meeting closed at 8.45 p.m. |
