Cllr Mrs Darby, Cllr Mrs Brooke and Cllr M Beane declared a non-pecuniary interest in planning application CH/1906. Cllr Mrs Smith declared an interest in correspondence regarding Willow Tree House. 154A To approve Minutes of Committee Meeting held on 15 February 2010 Minutes were approved as a true record and signed by the Chairman 155A Review Action Points from Minutes of 25 January 2010. 134(A) Petition from residents in Scholars Walk – Letter sent saying we had obtained information regarding recent crimes from the police and the committee felt that motion sensor security lights strategically placed on resident’s properties would be a more effective deterrent in these circumstances – noted. (151A) Scout Camp – Illegal signs at entrance – Holding letter received from Chiltern District Council. Signs have been removed but Committee suggested to keep an eye on the situation and look again in the future. (151A) Denham Lane – Clerk has spoken on phone and written to owner as grass verge being ruined with the parking – to be put on next agenda. 156A Correspondence – · Chiltern District Council – Chiltern District Council Off - Street Parking Places Amendment (No. 7) Order 2010 - Noted. · Buckinghamshire County Council Draft Freight Strategy – Clerk to contact Bucks County Council and obtain copies and Councillors to bring their suggested comments to next meeting. · Buckinghamshire County Council – Transport for Buckinghamshire – Draft Parking and Enforcement Policy – Consultation – Members to read the draft document ref http://www.buckscc.gov.uk/bcc/transport/parking_policy.page Sheets to be photocopied and returned to next A & P meeting. · Chiltern District Council – Car park charges – To be given to Clerk for next Finance Meeting. · Enquiry from Web Site re planning application 09/1926 for 9 High Street – Response to be sent saying that we only comment on applications but it is Chiltern District Council who decide whether to allow or reject planning applications. Our comments did ask Chiltern to consider whether the application would affect neighbouring properties · Buckinghamshire County Council – Temporary Emergency Notice re School Lane – Noted. Councillors to be emailed Emergency notices and not to be put on A & P Agenda. · The Planning Inspectorate – Highways Act 1980 Section 118 Public Footpath No. 37 (Part) – Noted. · Letter from Chesham Councillor - re Draft Core Strategy Consultation – Noted. · Email regarding Change of development name on private drive from Willow Tree House to Willow Park - Committee would prefer Willow Tree Lane and not Willow Tree Park. · Buckinghamshire County Council re Buckinghamshire’s Energy from Waste Project – Noted. · Letter dated 26 February from Gerald Eve re the Grange – Noted. 157A Licences – None 158A Enforcement Referrals List - 2 Lovel Road has been sold – Holding letter received from Chiltern District Council. Entrance to Convent in Gold Hill – Noted. 28 A Market Place - Noted Orchards Caravan Site – Noted. This is an unathorised development in West Hyde Lane. 159A Planning Comments & Officers Reports The Parish Council does not wish to speak at the District Planning meeting regarding planning application 10/0003/FA – Windrush, 49 Foxdell Way, Chalfont St Peter Planning applications with different outcomes to the Parish – Noted. Cllr Mrs Brooke, Cllr M Beane and Cllr Mrs Darby declared a non-pecuniary interest in the following application 1. CH/2009/1906/FA 1 Pond Cottages Gold Hill East Chalfont St Peter SL9 9DJ No objection 2. CH/2010/0051/FA Woodside House Woodside Hill Chalfont St Peter SL9 9TB Object to proliferation of flat roof dormers and windows overlooking neighbouring property “Silvanus”. Also out of keeping with rest of house. 3. CH/2010/0076/KA The Dower House Gold Hill East Chalfont St Peter SL9 9DL Ask forestry Officer recommendation. However we do not wish to see character of site change by taking out so many trees especially the red cedar. 4. CH/2010/0106/SA Langsett 64 Joiners Lane Chalfont St Peter SL9 0AU Objection to removal of grass verge. Cllr Mrs Darby asked that it be recorded that she had no objection to this planning application. 5. CH/2010/0121/FA 19 School Lane Chalfont St Peter SL9 9AT We do not consider that the reasons for refusal of previous applications have been overcome. The development is detrimental to neighbouring properties. The Certificate of Lawfulness granted for a garage is specifically for the use of 19 School Lane as it is "within the residential curtilage of this dwelling with access from the rear garden and front of site." 6. CH/2010/0157/VRC Michaelmas Cottage Gold Hill West Chalfont St Peter SL9 9HH No objection provided non-opening. 7. CH/2010/0163/FA The Ottoman 33 Rickmansworth Lane Chalfont St Peter SL9 0NA No objection but officers to check first floor window. 8. CH/2010/0164/FA 15 Hillside Close Chalfont St Peter SL9 0HJ No objection. 9. CH/2010/0165/FA 25 Garners Road Chalfont St Peter SL9 0HA Objection – overdevelopment and parking issues. Cllr Mrs Smith and Cllr Mrs Darby declared an interest in the following planning application as District Councillors and Cllr Mrs Brooke declared an interest as she is a Governor at the School. 10. CH/2010/0189/FA Chalfont Leisure Centre Nicol Road Chalfont St Peter SL9 9LR Inappropriate, unsightly and create danger on road. We think that it would be a good idea if all parties involved sit round a table and come up with something sensible – Bucks County Council, School, Police Chiltern District Council, Nexus, and neighbours. 11. CH/2010/0191/FA Pretty Penny Cherry Tree Lane Chalfont St Peter SL9 9DG No comment 12. CH/2010/0193/FA The Hamptons 50 North Park Chalfont St Peter SL9 8JP Overdevelopment and insufficient amenity space in this area of special character and too close to boundary.
