Village Design Statement - How To Comment

How to Comment on the Village Design Statement

You can view the first draft of the VDS document on this web site by clicking here (Please note this is in Adobe PDF Format - please click here if your computer cannot read PDF files), or you can view a hard copy in the public library in Chalfont St. Peter - please ask at the desk. A large print version for the visually impaired can be made available by contacting the clerk to the Parish Council at:

Parish Council Offices,
Gravel Hill, Chalfont St Peter,
Bucks SL9 9QX.

The last date for comments is the 26th June 2010. There will be a stall at Feast Day on Gold Hill Common where residents will be able to leave their comments. After this date the comments will be collated, the final document will be produced and will be put forward for acceptance by the planning authority at Chiltern District Council. The final version will be made available on this web site and in the local library in the Autumn of 2010 - exact date to be announced on this web site.


Format for comments

When making comments with regards to any specific part of the village design statement please reference the page and section if possible. It would be helpful if you could individually number your comments. Since comments will have to be analysed please could you avoid spreading them through a letter.

Please send your comments by email to vds@chalfontstpeter-pc.gov.uk or by post to the above address c/o the Parish Clerk. Please also mark your email subject or envelope "VDS comments".

All comments and contact details will be kept in confidence. They will not be seen by anyone other than those working on the VDS however reworded versions of comments may be published as part of the final document. Your details will not be passed on, and there will be no come-back to you unless you request it.
